Description
Some Bionicle 3D models I've worked on for the past few months, each altered compared to the original Lego toys in ways I felt improved on their designs, which were infamously controversial with fans (to say the least).
I added more armor to the Toa inspired by their classic Nuva forms, switched around Gali's and Onua's postures, reshaped Gali's mask to be less unsightly and made her eye-scope thing optional, as well as gave her back armor inspired by her toy prototype.
The three Makuta received less notable changes. Gorast got a more compact body with different wing placement, Krika some extra joints and a different "third arm", and Bitil received some more spikes and a double pair of beetle-like wings which the toy lacked entirely. Said wings were based on the wing pieces from the Lego Insectoid sets from the late '90s.

Modeled, textured and rendered in Blender 2.74.
