"Crest!", shouted Leon reaching for her in the darkness, "Crest?!"
"I'm right here Leon", she answered, her voice was shrill, "Stay still I can see your light"
Leon trembled but stopped at feeling Crest grab him, "I'm h-here", she said softly
"Where are we Crest?", asked Leon
"A v-very bad place", came Crest's hoarse whisper, "It's so dark...so very dark here...", she murmured softly
Leon lifted his head, he could hear something moving in the darkness. Something moving towards them on both sides... They were being surrounded.
"What do we do?", he asked, shaking dispite himself
Crest pressed her back towards him, "S-stay together", she answered, "Keept it together, we can do this, back to back"
Leon nodded taking courage from her words...
Not knowing that the words were more for herself than him.
