I printed out the pattern all excited to make it but I don't have the right color blue.

well, in nature, all creatures vary a little in color.. same is true with pokemon. It might not be the 'expected' color, but it's the specific color of YOUR pokemon.
Every pokemon is unique, and if your is just a little different in color, that's ok... it just makes it that much more special

I wouldn't say that I was quite at the 'advanced' beginner stage yet, but he doesn't look that complicated to give him a go!

I did a regular purging of the blog earlier this month. I very regularly go through and purge out all the 'non-pattern' posts to keep the blog mostly about the patterns.
I leave posts up for a month at *least*, some had been up for nearly a year (I got lazy and didn't do this as regularly as normal last year).
I do it for several reasons, the most important of which is that people come to the blog to see the patterns, so I try to keep it about that. It also makes the blog easier for me to manage overall. If I didn't do that from time to time, the entire thing would end up bloated and hard to manage (and I hate that).
Since I didn't post any patterns from about the end of sept. till just recently, it was all just 'chatter' posts, which were confusing to a few people and just generally in the way of the patterns.
Sooo, no biggie, just me cleaning house (and funnily enough, I'm doing the same thing at home LOL, I think it's just something I can't help sometimes
