I haven't upload anything for like two weeks lol, something came up and i need to sort things out.A Dark and Sad theme for a change, i feel like I've been doing a lot of "sunny" artwork lately, but I am not really sure if i portray the theme well. The character is from my profile pic piece Aoi no Kami , I originally just intend to draw an updated version of my profile pic but i got carried away and add a lot of stuff.

I really like the piece! It gived out that sad mood, so great job on expressing what you wanted!~ The small details are really nicely done as well, and I love the way you created the clouds/smoke in the background it inspired me to use some of that technique as well. And great work on making the character the center of the attention, at first i was worried he stands out too much, but it's all good now i guess lmao. Also - wonderful work on shading wet clothes, his pants are especially nicely shaded. Now, noticing the guy at the background I started feeling lost, as I had no idea what is he even doing there, what's his purpose, he doesn't feel like he belongs in the picture, actually I thought it might be two different pictures smashed together (one behind the fence, and other one in front of it). Instead of putting him here, maybe expanding the city would be better.
The boy in the front looks really dreamy and I like his expresson, and the little detail of him pouring the water from his hand. Your anatomy is really good too, even though it seems like it's a hard pose to put a character in, you executed it incredibly well. Maybe just his feet seem kinda weird. And at last - his hair, which made me confused, I think you made it look really extra. I had to look up his reference you linked, to make myself aware that the light blue piece is his ponytail. It feels unnecessary, to make it all tangled up in the fence, and even making it so visible.
Still, you made a beautiful work there! Really well done!

sorry for the really late reply, but Yeah i agree with you with the giant robot in the back being so out of place, i don't really know where to go with the piece at the time i am creating it, in case your wandering why i add giant robot in the background, it might have something to do with the PV of the inspiration song for the piece, thanks for the compliments and critique it helps a lot~

It looks really...sad? Like, it's a really good drawing, and I can see that you put a lot of work on it, it gives me a really sad aura (and for your description, that's probably what you were looking for)
I really like it. The fence (or...the metal background, bad english, sorry) looks awesome af. And the strange thing on the background who looks like a person with a mask? looks great. I love it
