Beautiful effect! If I may ask, did you paint the ferns first and then mask them, or paint after masking? In any case, very well executed! Makes me want to dig out my bottle of masking fluid (although it's probably all dried up now...)

Hey Mistique, the ferns were masked, and then later had color added to the masked area digitally. Β You could either paint then mask or mask then paint though. Β It's fun stuff!

I like the incorporation of color in the far back (moon) and the very front in the plants but nowhere else Of course I always love your drawings and your use of mediums. You do really well with the ink

We got a chance to move to much earlier than expected, and are in Texas now. (Central TX, not scary TX.) The big question is if I will melt in the summers here. If I remain unpooled, the idea is to get a small acerage farm when we can.
