I have to admit, I've known of this picture's existence for quite a while now, even before I became a deviant; and I must say - you, Jay, are a very good writer AND artist.

I'm at a loss for words over the heart-devouring tragedy depicted.

wow that hurts deep down.. to truely know your alone and for those you knew to be on display..do you have the rest of this story so far on here i would wish to read it though i hope it is not as sad as this part completely. one reason this hits me hard is i saw a grey wolf get shot for no reason other than the peoples boredom and i have a german shepard-wolf mix. this really hurts cause whenever i read something i put myself as the character i read of and feel their pain

It's ok, I was trying to make that part of the chapter really hit the reader hard. I'm not offended by your previous comment or anything.

Thanks, I just have a thing for german shepherds, esp soldiers.
Would you mind if I did a fanfic of this? It helps me when Im depressed, to ressurect characters that I liked . Im still going to give you original credit and so-on. Im just asking to borrow the characters or maybe resurrect the german shepherd or something. I can even send you the story first if you want

I appreciate your interest, but I've been discouraging fanfics of this story (there's a LOT more to it than just this part) since I've been working on it for 2 years and would like to publish it someday. Sorry.

Cool, I've been a little hesitant to reading your chapter (so much and so long!) but this sparked an intrest in me. I think I will get down to it as soon as I finish of my school things.

Weird how a work of fiction can stir you more than a newspaper telling you about a bus carrying seventysome people careening off a cliff does. Really moving. Shows just how human Fox really is...
Interestingly enough the harsh labaratory lighting actually makes it kind of sadder. Its like...bodies of sentient beings on display in a museum.
Ive just kind of got the creeps right now so my words are kind of jumbled. Good job.

You're right about that; when I heard about that bus crash my thought was wow, that sucks, but how can they wonder how it happened...when the bus was way overloaded, driving way too fast on a dangerous road?
It is amazing how fiction (especially when it features furry animals) can have a greater impact on people than real life. Creeps you out, does it? Well them, my work here is done...
