Dxun (pronounced /'dʌksɪn/), also known as the Demon Moon, was the largest of four moons that orbited the Outer Rim world of Onderon. Like its parent planet, it was covered almost entirely by dense jungles that were populated by many species of fierce, predatory animals.
This piece took me quite a while to finish... mostly because I am one lazy fucker. Not to mention my attention span tends to wander off to things like Video Games and Food. As you can tell by the quote and the excerpt from Wookiepedia, this is the jungle moon Dxun that exists in the Star Wars Universe.
The two characters are Jedi Knight Celia Zatel (on the left) and her Padawan Thridi Montross (on the right.) This was right before their fall to the Dark side, where they found their way to a Mandalorian Camp.
=Lord-FSan is the creator/owner of the character Celia Zatel. Thridi Montross is my created character.
All created in Photoshop CS2 and CS4 (No pencils, cause I am cool like that)

i had a dream once where I was on Dxun. The ground itself was moving...with creatures of all kinds. I made it to a veldt where there were giant cobra snakes having some kind of group orgy. It was really messed up for the moment that it passed through my mind...but it was profoundly captivating.

Hah, I'm actually looking forward to that. Though at times I would've rather had Kotor 3 instead... but eh. And in relation to TOR, they're bringing a Book that'll reveal what happened after the games, like with Revan, the Exile, and a handful of party Members from both Games

I cannot deny that those look good, but the gameplay won't look that great. Sadly. Considering in order to achieve that sort of graphics for gameplay, everyone would have to upgrade their machines to handle Crysis x 10. Lol one day though. The only reason why I'm not jumping on TOR bandwagon, is simple because I don't want to pay a 50 dollar monthly fee, every month like WoW. (if not more) Besides, I already pay that much for XBL which I personally prefer since I can buy and play more than one game online with one account.

Yeah, the Pay to Play isn't the best aspect. Since it hasn't been confirmed, I think, then maybe it won't be brought it. Or if it is, not too expensive.

I love the background, girl you rock. The forest idea looks realistic, the little mosses haging down makes it like a real landscape portrait where you peek through sorta saying.
But what is a drawing without critism?

Last critism, and a overal critism for you.
Altough i really like the background.. i have one thing with it.. Girl you used Brushes.
Its fine to use soms non custom brushes but i do see them very very clearly. Like the lightgreen trees into the forest for example, you see the same pattern returning several times. It goes the same with the hanging mosses as well, i do see the same mosses (shapes) returning.
(this is the reason why i dont use dloaded brushes, or use them very minor)
It might be a lot of work, but you might add more shading / green colours into the background on top of the dloaded brushes to cover them a bit more.
^-^ I hope you can use this advice, and your picture is still great in the end.

Cool I'm glad you like it.
The green lightsaber is a bit different, I had trouble when I was making it, since I didn't want it to blend in with the green foliage. Now that I look at it again, the blade is thinner than the orange one.
As for the brushes lol, yea I use them a great deal. They have helped me make my pieces that much better, not to mention I can do speed paints and pull off a decent piece in a short amount of time. But you bring up a good point, I should have varied the sizes by setting the brushes to scatter. The only excuse for that is my laziness lol.

I kind of laid off of it for a while. mostly so i can figure out how to finish the foreground and such... It's not finished though, and I would prefer if you didn't till it's done... cause if I don't finish I don't think it wold be fair to judge it since it wouldn't be my best.
