Gosh, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for… like, almost a month.
Side note: Mauve died in the cold storage to an ice-type move by a pokemon I can't remember. T'wasn't team plasma, just a random trainer guy.

Mauve's death (the way you depicted it in the comic) made me sad.
Also Lauren: Ah, the guilt sets in. It's not like Lauren stabbed you with a knife or anything (and nearly killed piche prematurely)
On a side note: That Altaria. *_* I want it.
Skyla's probably pissed her Swanna died. (But now all her others are too...that's not going to go well for her)
Poor Lily. D: Watching her Trainer, a human that actually cares about her take a mortal blow for her. Don't worry girl, you got your revenge. You got the bird that took your trainer. Even though you knew you were going to die for that.
Adrian's death is manslaughter. I guess the legal term would be death by cop technically. (although unintentional)
Even though Adrian's death caught everyone by surprise, I just think Skyla was angry about Swanna, and kind of had a bad opinion about Team Plasma? Hmmm....she clearly set out pokemon against people that had no more viable pokemon to defend themselves...they probably would've been killed without White's interference instead of arrested. (and oh gosh, Cheren wants to join the police force. O_O)
But still...jumping in front and taking a blow meant for his pokemon. Adrian's sacrifice will only drive home the point that Team Plasma is willing to die for their pokemon. That they really do consider them equals, and that their life was important enough to sacrifice their own to save. (He'll be turned into a martyr or something...always be remembered bro)

I don't hate this page - Champ's expressions in the panels after losing Mauve are really good. You can see he understands, but it still leaves enough to wonder how *much* he understands, or if he's just picking up White's mood.

I love the character developement within the story and how it always makes you question things
I think White may start to question the whether team plasma or the pokemon goverment(like the gym leaders) are actually helpful
White is seeing first hand how cruel the gym leaders are ( Skyla did kill a man even though she meant to hit his Leopard) and she is realizing that there really isn't one side!

I really like all the facial expressions here. You can really see the terror, determination, and sorrow in White and Lauren's faces. The stringy hair, while gorgueos, also really helped accent the movement of this scene. Really, really fantastic Wass!
My favorite panel is definitely the one with Champ comforting White. It's good to see that they're both becoming more open. Champ does care about his trainer, and White's finally being honest with herself about her feelings for her Pokemon. She was even being much nicer to them last update, outright complimenting Mauve for her good work.
I kinda hope The League can ID Pokemon corpses. XD Just to force White into Team Plasma, because she's slowly drifting towards their cause again. She cared enough to get involved in this obviously dangerous trap, she witnessed Skyla, a gym leader, accidentally murder Adrian, she broke down and buried Nuria after Skyla's gym, and now she was willing to sacrifice herself to make sure Plasma got away--even when it was Lauren, who she hated for stealing Bianca's Pokemon.
Damn. This just keeps getting better and better. From here on, Lauren's going to ask White why she helped, and White had better search herself for a good, honest answer! (Or throw N's "Everybody deserves help" comment around) At this point, she's witness Cheren give up training, who she thought was the best of them, Bianca is uncertain about challenging more gyms and is instead dating Elesa, her own mother refused to let her come hom because she "promised" to do this for a year... I don't think White can stay neutral for much longer.
On a side note, Naub absolutely mauled that Ninetails. Even when the Gym Leaders are using their real team they stand no chance against him. Run! Run for your lives!

...if Mauve was a Moxie-gator, I'm kind of surprised you didn't spend a revival on her. Moxiegators are hugely useful.
Possibly even otherwise, but that's just my love of the Krookorok talking. Love those gators. Best Outrage I've ever used.

There are some really terrific facial expressions in this update. The terror and horror on White and Lauren's faces is so vivid. I sat in on part of your livestream and I now have a new appreciation for just how much work goes into these comics. I know these must take forever but I hope you're proud of the results, Wasser.

New theory, although this one is less likely because I have less evidence to back it up. There's a tracer on the truck, which is why there were no police stopping Team Plasma from escaping.
And now more theories!
1. White will decide to continue on her journey for the same reasons she's always had for continuing.
2. Lauren and White will split up right away after this, but Lauren will be confused enough to ask White a question or two about why White helped.
3. White will join Team Plasma, and continue on her journey so that she can work as a spy. Probably under the orders of the higher-us of Team Plasma- the slightly twisted ones like N's dad. (This one contradicts number 1, because I think one or the other will occur.)
I can't see you having White stop challenging gym leaders, it contradicts the whole point of Nuzlocke. I know you're choosing to sometimes have Pokemon die/leave in-comic in different ways than they died in-game, but it'd be hard to have a coherent plot without the gym leaders.
More devious idea...
You mentioned that captured Pokemon are categorized by their Pokeballs. Is it possible for the League to use that system to identify Mauve's corpse? If so, then White's in some big trouble... Although I can just as easily see the League waiting to arrest her in order to trail her.

I was wondering about the ability to ID pokemon corpses too. Yeah, that could be a major problem for White.
Now as for Point #3, if White joins Team Plasma she could end up fighting the remaining gym leaders in actual life-or-death combat. I think that so long as you record the results and fatalities of the gym leader battle you could spin the situation that lead to the fighting however you prefer.

Ah! I didn't think of that for point three. It makes a lot of sense, and I can already see how that would affect White, and her reputation among Team Plasma and the league. If she succeeds in fighting the gym leaders, she may have to kill some of them. Even if she doesn't want to kill league members, several victories would give her a strong reputation among Team Plasma, and eventually a power-hungry leader would order her to do assassinations.

I have to say, I love how over time in this comic, White's evolved from just being in different to when one of her pokemon died, to becoming emotional and visibly getting upset with a death - it shows she's becoming more than just a cold-hearted trainer who's willing to do whatever it takes to win. Such a shame though, Krookodile are good pokemon :c
