Edit: The 2011 snail calendar is now for sale:For my snail calendar!
(I can't decide on what month, though...)All I had to do was set him down next to the pine cone, and off he went!
The photo fairies helped me hold up the pine cone.
...I used a ball of wall tack.

Such an adorable photo! I'd adore one of these calenders, I remember in 2007 when my family were sorting the garden for my sisters wedding and I ended up with over 50 living in a sort of compost heap I made them
Sadly I didn't want to move them from their home when we moved, but I hope to find some to call friends!
