The son of an over-ambitious corporate magnate. His father took advantage of the Apocalypse that ocurred 17 years ago, using his resources and connections to control the economic infrastructure. No-one knows how he managed to resurrect society in such a short period of time, and there are many rumors of him being directly related to the Apocalypse, though these are quashed almost as soon as they appear. As a result Minho is under immense pressure from his domineering father, and has developed what seems to be almost schizophrenia.
His mother comes from an upperclass family, and is rarely home, preferring to attend functions and social gatherings. His charismatic facade is a result of being dragged to these sort of events and having to deal with hordes of influential older women.

The prestigious school he currently attends is a multi-tiered school, beginning from preschool until university. Minho has been there since he was young enough to be accepted, and it is during his highschool years that his friends Reide and Jin take the entrance exam to join him.
