Possibly unpopular opinion incoming. If you can't handle a simple opinion, please leave now. Think before you comment, please....And that is why. I don't particularly regret it though. Maybe if more people would learn to speak at a reasonably audible volume instead of talking bellowing about their personal lives at the top of their lungs or learned to just shut the fuck up for more than five seconds at a time, the world would be a much nicer, less hearing-impaired place.

I tune a lot of people out, either by my own will power (and lack of an attention span) or with music, and I have my music turned way up.

People these days are like drills. Their place is 6 ft in the ground, but instead their in your ears, piercing them... ...like drills.

Having spent a great deal of time in woodshops and art studios, I actually do prefer the din of power tools to people's inane babbling.
Though admittedly, power sanders are painfully loud. Maybe that's what's accelerating my premature hearing loss.
