things I wanted to show in this strip:
1 - the real is a constantly changing environment. at any time the playing field could just up and go poof!
2 - I wanted to pace it as a continuation from my audition.
3 - prove that I can do backgrounds by hand, even though it nearly blinded me.
4 - play with dialogue in a way that I never considered before. including the use of quotes.
and that's pretty much it...
Next stop: one hell of a pissed off Draco!!! And an actual battle. I have never in all my life drawn a full battle in comic form before… (past attempts at Ever Hollow don’t count, because it was total crap!!!)

Sheesh, there are so many things about this comic to comment on that I don't even know where to start! 
If drawing those backgrounds nearly blinded you, then you should know that they look like they were totally worth the effort. Gorgeous job!

This looks really, really good, but I have some nit-picky-perfectionista-editorial-feel-free-to-ignore-me advice. You use the same line width for the panels as you do for the characters. You then stack panels on top of one another. I find transitions from panel to panel to be visually confusing as a result. You might try increasing the line weight of the "on top" panels so panels such as the "watch your step" stand out a little better from the scenes.
Actual feedback shall occur when I'm not rushing to get my super-duper ossim piece done in time to order prints of it.

Nevertheless, the result was worth the whole effort, despite all the problems you had in the process. I have always liked the cute element on your drawing style and it gives a lot of character to your work. I especially like your expression in the 6th pannel, it's great!
This sequence is just awesome, Wazzy, really! Now I am really interested on how this will turn out!

by the way... I really did try to copy the guns from both the ref sheet and some of your other works. if you look at the detail on the side (your first appearance panel) it should look accurate. I just didn't know it was a double barreled shot-gun design when first drawing, thus the single barrel thing happened... I would have edited it after seeing your round, but doing so would men erasing more of the face... which I felt loath to do after working so hard on it.
meh, maybe you'll over look the crappy guns once you see how accurate I was able to draw Frank's armor... maybe... one can only hope.
