At the beginning of the second decade of the twenty-first century, Mankind searched the heavens and planned his first steps beyond the pale moon that hung in the night sky. No one would have believed that, as they made their plans, hidden in that night sky cool and calculating minds watched keenly their efforts with growing interest.

As mankind busied itself with its various petty concerns. so did other minds scrutinize man, with infinite patience they studied mankind, as mankind would study the tiny creatures darting to and fro in a drop of water.

With infinite complacency, man traveled the world and went about the business of life with serene assurance in their dominance over the small world that was their empire.

Yet across the gulfs of space minds cool and unsympathetic regarded earth with greedy eyes, and slowly and surely drew up their plans against us.

And on the eve of the second year, of the second decade of the twenty-first century came the great disillusionment.

Had a few odd pieces lying around and decided to put them together into a tripod. One fighting machine, and its smaller "Infantry machine". wanted something a bit more industrial and military looking than the recent batch of movies present them and still keep an alien look.
