Description
The Centaur Use components from the smaller Mauler to create a mobile firing platform to defend critical locations from assault and shock assaults by placing the firepower of an orbital gunship on site. The four Heavy Plasma cannons, an multiple missile launchers pose a threat to anything smaller than a assault ship. The drawback to the size and firepower is that the power systems and motive unis of the design are not powerful enough to allow the Centaur to exceed 15Kph .

the quadruped stance allows the Centaur to be extremely stable while firing and adjust ts stance to provide a perfectly level and stable firing platform during long range precision fire that would be throw off by any movement of the chassis. Even on severely angled or irregular surfaces the centaur can stabilize orient and fire repeatedly at fast moving objects or tares in low orbit with extreme accuracy. This stability, precision and flexibility oe than make up for its slow movement rate an reliance on solid dry terrain or paved surfaces.

A hybrid between a Hellfire Missile and an AMRAAM. capable of damaging dropships, heavy gunships, and corvettes
4 Starship Grade Plasma cannons: (Anti tank, Anti-mech direct fire)
Range line of sight out to 250 KM Accuracy, sub minute of angle( sniper rifle grade accuracy)
Power: equivalent to 122mm main tank gun firing depleted uranium rounds, that explode with the force of a howitzer shell one it penetrates target, on impact with ground or strikes an object it can't penetrate
4 40mm Coil guns; anti vehicle. (Point defense fast reaction guns)
equivalent to 40mm Bofors anti aircraft gun
8 Rapid fire plasma cannons: ( Infantry suppression)
same as a 20mm autocannon firing depleted uranium rounds, that explode with the force of an explosive shell one it penetrates target, on impact with ground or strikes an object it can't penetrate. Rate of fire (adjustable) 600 to 1200 rounds per minute with all guns firing.
