Description I was working with my first drawing trying to get some glow affects on the nodes along it's back, and eyes. I modified it a bit since I was not happy with the tail section and dropped it .

I like the shape and look of the critter better without the tail. and I hope the glow effects are up to snuff..

The trick to making a convincing glow effect is to make the light source itself very light (white or almost white). If you look at photos of Christmas lights , you can see this in action.

the problem with self teaching a skill, the teacher is as clueless as the student.
