Description
My best friend Jenn is always telling me that I need to "DO MORE ACTION POSES!" (and fewer meaningless paintings of pretty girls standing around). When Cobweb-stock and his wife Lockstock put up photographs of themselves as knight and lady, I could not resist. The series of photos is fantastic, and I hope to return to it soon, to paint more of this dramatic couple.

I must also thank Causticstock for his GREAT castle backgrounds. I hope desparately to move to Europe, but until I do... I am greatful for Caustic's great background shots, perfect for the type of paintings I do. So many of his photographs are BEGGING to have beautiful maidens or brave men posed dramatically over 'em. Unlike the usual tourist photos you see in books, Caustic chooses doors and windows and stairways and other beautiful details to photograph.

This painting is 11x14 inches on illustration board, in watercolors. The original was sold at Bubonicon in New Mexico. It needs a better title, but my husband (title writer extraordinare) has been busy.
