★ [ Description ]: Even from a distance, Mako is an incredibly interesting looking cat. Bulky and muscular, he almost looks physically imposing - till a cat sees how tall he is. Standing at an impressive nine inches tall, Mako has a lot going on with his appearance. While snow white fur covers most of his body his back is splotched with tabby patches of both his father's red and his mother's sandier tones, the same alternating colors appearing on his kinked tail. With a face that his half sandy and a bright red paw, there are a lot of things to notice about him. In terms of his appearance, he resembles his father more, but with a thinner muzzle like his mother, yet his father's curled ears. His eyes are two different colors; the left is a brighter yellow, while the right one is a softer green.

Loud and upbeat to a fault, Mako is an incredibly bright and fun-loving cat with a penchant for mischief and danger alike. Boisterous and energetic, it often feels like he's always on the move to find something new, with a knowing ignorance of the danger that could follow his quests. Despite his impulsive and almost annoying demeanor, Mako is kind and forgiving to a fault, going out of his way to support and love those he's close to. Social and friendly, he finds it easy to make friends, though time and his experiences in life have left him to hold many at a distance he wouldn't have before. Regardless of how shallow others tend to perceive his personality, there's far more to him than many grow to realize. Despite how outwardly positive he is, Mako is a cat that is deeply insecure in everything about himself, whether it be his appearance or his personality. Self-loathing to a fault, he finds it easy to find faults with everything he does, and often thinks that he is deserving of how he feels. As a result, and due to being captured as a child and feeling like he needed to be stronger than he was, he struggles with vocalizing even the most surface level sadness and has a tendency towards bottling up his feelings, even at the cost of his own well being. But, more positively, Mako is a cat with a lot of love to give to the world, and often strives to do the best he possibly can with everything task he is given. Overall, Mako is a social and kind yet ambitious tom with a lot to give to all of those around him.

Social is definitely one of the few things you can use to describe this tom. He had no issue talking to anyone and everyone. He just loves to talk! Simply being able to meet new cats and chatter about whatever interests him would be enough to make his day. Unlike his mother, talking with others excites and invigorates him, giving him the energy to do many other things over the course of the day. Awkwardness and shyness really don't plague him in most situations; why should he, Mako, feel in any way embarrassed talking to others? While he can be a touch overbearing and overzealous at times, he does mean well. There are many instances where he carries on for eons about whatever it is that day that interests him, but some enjoy such a chattery cat. While he can force himself to be quiet when someone really wants it, or the situation requires it, he would prefer to be talking at any and all times of the day.

- [ Obnoxious ]: annoying or objectionable due to being a showoff or attracting undue attention to oneself
Unfortunately, this cat has the tendency to be, without intention, incredibly obnoxious. It isn't that he wants to annoy anyone necessarily, but sometimes there is something just too loud, too annoying, and too much about this little tom. While at times it can be considered tolerable, there are definitely times where he can be too much for anyone to deal with. He exhibits a pleasant level of social-ness most of the time, but there are times where he proves to be far too loud and jolly for anyone. It doesn't help that he can get in someone's face when it comes to personal beliefs or anything and everything relating to his family. Any mention of his family being in any way bad will have him immediately all up in the cat's face in an attempt to convince them otherwise. It wound up not easing much with age, yet he has learned to bite his tongue due to his experience with the Enlightened.

“HELL YEAH!!!!!!”

If there's one perfect word for this tom, it's loud. He just doesn't know how to lower the volume. From the volume of his voice to how he walks, everything about him just exudes greater volume. It isn't that he tries to be loud... it just comes naturally to him. It doesn't matter the time of day, or how the cats around him feel. He just naturally finds himself shouting at every turn as if he has to tell the world everything. Which, in a way, is true to him. In his eyes, his life and his family is just so awesome that he feels obligated to yell about them, even if it bothers anyone within the immediate vicinity of him. Only in situations where he himself is not feeling well or is tired, or one of his family members politely requested him to be quiet, will he actually bother to lower his volume for more than a few seconds. Sorry to anyone anywhere. He has grown a bit quieter and subdued with age, but is still prone to yelling at the best of times.

This young tom is, well, incredibly lively, with a warm and welcoming personality in spite of his more obnoxious nature. While a lot of it has grown more strained and fake with age, Mako still finds himself a more bubbly cat a majority of the time. With a warm and cheerful disposition, he can be quite enjoyable to be around. Often seen with a smile on his face around Water-Tribe camp, he isn't really one to give off much of an image of negativity or unhappiness, even if it doesn't hold true... He even has quite the optimistic outlook on things, despite how his life got flipped upside down. Regardless of the reason, he is easily able to get a smile onto even the angriest of cat's faces with ease. Unfortunately, with time has come a greater maturity and a more glum outlook, yet it's still easy to bring this tom back to feeling at least a bit happier.

“Hey, let's go cliff-diving!!! It'll be fun!”
- [ Impulsive ]: acting or done with forethought
For such a smart cat, this tom... really doesn't think before he does something. Whatever the first thought is that comes to his mind, he'll probably do it without even the slightest consideration of the consequences. Why should he? He's obviously invincible! Luckily, this only really applies to situations centered around ideas. In conversation, he does pay close attention to his words so he doesn't make someone mad... which doesn't work half the time, but the effort is there regardless. In any other situation, he will leap into action with no reconsideration of his actions, which could get him into trouble easily. Unfortunately, if his parents or siblings are in any way insulted, this impulsiveness will definitely show in that he will probably try to fight whoever is daring to suggest such a thing. When his brothers are around to talk more sense into him, then there is a chance of him not doing whatever dumb thing is on his mind. This impulsiveness hasn't been curbed with age, and, if anything, he's found himself more and more willing to take risks as he seeks out the fun things in life.

“Who cares if the sun's not up yet, let's go!!!”

If there's one thing he managed to retain from his youth, it's his energy... From dawn till the end of the day, this tom is wide awake and ready to go. Wearing him out is hard, possible even, and presents a new problem for those who wish to enjoy a second of peace. No reprieve is granted, even at night; he has to watch the sunrise with someone after all. It's possible to see this kitten zooming around at all parts of the day (or trying at least) on his way to his next adventure. It isn't that he wants to be everywhere necessarily, it's just that he has endless energy and has to burn some of it off somehow. Given how he now is able to train instead of aimless running, he is able to burn more of his energy off, but still retains his problems sleeping and the energy he seems to possess at inconvenient times.

With age has brought an entirely new aspect of his personality to the table: a smoothness and dashing charm, unlike his younger self. With charm shining at the forefront of this personality, this tom has grown to be quite the smooth-talker, with a degree of grace and elegance that could render many cats weak. Of course, this tom isn't really looking to flirt with many, but he still remains charming and polite in conversation at the best of times, eager to please those around him and keep as many happy as he can. Despite how many aspects of his confidence has grown faker with time, he still manages to play the part of the confident and charming daredevil, all fanged grins and bright eyes. Despite his seemingly more rough-and-tumble nature, Mako has a degree of grace and elegance to him that serves to make him appear ever the charmer - something of which he takes a lot of pride in, really. Of course, the more coarse aspects of his personality will always shine through, but he has definitely matured into quite the charming tom.

As his life has carried out, Mako has found himself less and less willing to reveal his more deep and troubling emotions to those around them, even if they're close. Experiences as a child growing up in the time of war have left him ever more uncomfortable with the idea of disclosing his true emotions, leaving him to lock them all up inside, despite the unhealthiness of it. While his ability to observe and understand the emotions of others around him was a more pure trait as a child, growing up with an (unfortunately, in his eyes) unique appearance opened his ears to the whispers of his oddities and flaws - all of the these he viewed as inferior already brought to light by those around him. While he still remains comfortable with sharing his opinions on many matters, he finds himself painting smiles on, even when he doesn't truly feel as happy as his outward appearance expresses. Having been taken from his parents' side at the age of three moons, he was left stunted when it came to talking about emotions, always forcing himself to be the strongest one so his siblings had a sturdy wall to lean on. As his life has settled again, he finds himself unable to shake the effects of it and continues to keep his emotions to himself, even at the cost of his own happiness.

Mako is an incredibly observant cat, and has been since he was a young kitten... Slight details and gestures do not escape him, even if he doesn't really voice what he is thinking. This also applies in the speed at which he notices things; he's able to spot details quickly and work through what they could mean. While at times he really isn't sure what to do with what he learns, he will remember the details in case he needs to recall them at any time. Mako remains observant in any situation, keeping an eye on his surroundings to see if anything changes. In situations of adventure, there's at least a partial chance that he'll head his own observations to avoid potential danger, but honestly, he doesn't listen to his head as much as he should. He has learned with time that he is incredibly in tune to the emotions of others which, while not a bad thing on its own, can get incredibly overwhelming. Due to how he was stolen young and had to face war at a young age, his keen nature has only grown more so, paranoia now serving as a fuel in his life. While it once was a trait that held only innocence and a careful regard to the world, now is responsible for more alarmed or frightened reactions in the face of sudden and unexpected occurrences to or around him.

I'm okay!" he wheezed after a moment, ignoring how his body pulsed from pain. It definitely served to sober him up from his brief experience with burning alive. He withdrew his nose from Tobias' fur to listen to him speak, repeating the words lightly in his mind. It sounded like it was coming from a place of knowing... and one he understood all too well. "That's definitely true, but... sometimes you just know that, when it happens, it will work out like you thought it would, you know? Sometimes you just... know." he spoke carefully, holding Toby's gaze for a little bit too long, a soft smile upon his face. A purr bubbled up in his throat at the affectionate gesture, reflexively moving closer for more, eyes squeezing shut with quiet pleasure. "I totally want him to knock me out one day... He even has quite the optimistic outlook on things, despite how his life got flipped upside down. Regardless of the reason, he is easily able to get a smile onto even the angriest of cat's faces with ease. Unfortunately, with time has come a greater maturity and a more glum outlook, yet it's still easy to bring this tom back to feeling at least a bit happier.

For such a smart cat, this tom... really doesn't think before he does something. Whatever the first thought is that comes to his mind, he'll probably do it without even the slightest consideration of the consequences. Why should he? He's obviously invincible! Luckily, this only really applies to situations centered around ideas. In conversation, he does pay close attention to his words so he doesn't make someone mad... which doesn't work half the time, but the effort is there regardless. In any other situation, he will leap into action with no reconsideration of his actions, which could get him into trouble easily. Unfortunately, if his parents or siblings are in any way insulted, this impulsiveness will definitely show in that he will probably try to fight whoever is daring to suggest such a thing. When his brothers are around to talk more sense into him, then there is a chance of him not doing whatever dumb thing is on his mind. This impulsiveness hasn't been curbed with age, and, if anything, he's found himself more and more willing to take risks as he seeks out the fun things in life.

If there's one thing he managed to retain from his youth, it's his energy... From dawn till the end of the day, this tom is wide awake and ready to go. Wearing him out is hard, possible even, and presents a new problem for those who wish to enjoy a second of peace. No reprieve is granted, even at night; he has to watch the sunrise with someone after all. It's possible to see this kitten zooming around at all parts of the day (or trying at least) on his way to his next adventure. It isn't that he wants to be everywhere necessarily, it's just that he has endless energy and has to burn some of it off somehow. Given how he now is able to train instead of aimless running, he is able to burn more of his energy off, but still retains his problems sleeping and the energy he seems to possess at inconvenient times.

With age has brought an entirely new aspect of his personality to the table: a smoothness and dashing charm, unlike his younger self. With charm shining at the forefront of this personality, this tom has grown to be quite the smooth-talker, with a degree of grace and elegance that could render many cats weak. Of course, this tom isn't really looking to flirt with many, but he still remains charming and polite in conversation at the best of times, eager to please those around him and keep as many happy as he can. Despite how many aspects of his confidence has grown faker with time, he still manages to play the part of the confident and charming daredevil, all fanged grins and bright eyes. Despite his seemingly more rough-and-tumble nature, Mako has a degree of grace and elegance to him that serves to make him appear ever the charmer - something of which he takes a lot of pride in, really. Of course, the more coarse aspects of his personality will always shine through, but he has definitely matured into quite the charming tom.

As his life has carried out, Mako has found himself less and less willing to reveal his more deep and troubling emotions to those around them, even if they're close. Experiences as a child growing up in the time of war have left him ever more uncomfortable with the idea of disclosing his true emotions, leaving him to lock them all up inside, despite the unhealthiness of it. While his ability to observe and understand the emotions of others around him was a more pure trait as a child, growing up with an (unfortunately, in his eyes) unique appearance opened his ears to the whispers of his oddities and flaws - all of the these he viewed as inferior already brought to light by those around him. While he still remains comfortable with sharing his opinions on many matters, he finds himself painting smiles on, even when he doesn't truly feel as happy as his outward appearance expresses. Having been taken from his parents' side at the age of three moons, he was left stunted when it came to talking about emotions, always forcing himself to be the strongest one so his siblings had a sturdy wall to lean on. As his life has settled again, he finds himself unable to shake the effects of it and continues to keep his emotions to himself, even at the cost of his own happiness.

Mako is an incredibly observant cat, and has been since he was a young kitten... Slight details and gestures do not escape him, even if he doesn't really voice what he is thinking. This also applies in the speed at which he notices things; he's able to spot details quickly and work through what they could mean. While at times he really isn't sure what to do with what he learns, he will remember the details in case he needs to recall them at any time. Mako remains observant in any situation, keeping an eye on his surroundings to see if anything changes. In situations of adventure, there's at least a partial chance that he'll head his own observations to avoid potential danger, but honestly, he doesn't listen to his head as much as he should. He has learned with time that he is incredibly in tune to the emotions of others which, while not a bad thing on its own, can get incredibly overwhelming. Due to how he was stolen young and had to face war at a young age, his keen nature has only grown more so, paranoia now serving as a fuel in his life. While it once was a trait that held only innocence and a careful regard to the world, now is responsible for more alarmed or frightened reactions in the face of sudden and unexpected occurrences to or around him.

"A-ahh... that's gay..." he mumbled, burying his face in his best friend's fur for a moment, just snuffling lightly at his dark, curly fur. "I'm okay! I'm okay!" he wheezed after a moment, ignoring how his body pulsed from pain. It definitely served to sober him up from his brief experience with burning alive. He withdrew his nose from Tobias' fur to listen to him speak, repeating the words lightly in his mind. It sounded like it was coming from a place of knowing... and one he understood all too well. "That's definitely true, but... sometimes you just know that, when it happens, it will work out like you thought it would, you know? Sometimes you just... know." he spoke carefully, holding Toby's gaze for a little bit too long, a soft smile upon his face. A purr bubbled up in his throat at the affectionate gesture, reflexively moving closer for more, eyes squeezing shut with quiet pleasure. "I totally want him to knock me out one day... I might actually get some sleep... Same though, honestly. I feel so ridiculously restless..." he said with a soft huff, going to nuzzle Tobias.
