John Stewart chose to ditch the mask early in his career, he was a social activist during his early years and felt he had nothing to hide. He wasn't the only GL to do it either, Guy Gardner wanted recognition for his acts of heroism.

Extremely amusing.
Blackfire's personality really shows through in the dialogue. It's a shame that they didn't develop her character more in the series. She was a really fascinating foil to Starfire, and at least we can see what happened to her in your comics.
...Oh, the situations that she keeps on falling into. The peril! The suspense! ...The sheer drama! (Today's is no exception
