I know, I know, I draw far too much Applejack and Rarity... you all don't need to tell me because I'm already aware, though seeing as how these two are my favorite ponies and I draw my fanart for fun (and not to mention the fact that they both need the love!), I can't say I feel the need to apologize too overly much for the fact!Anyway though! This picture was originally made as a fun little holiday bonus to go along with a commissioned project of mine, seeing as how I didn't have the chance to do a more involved seasonal-themed piece like I'd originally wanted to. Somehow I don't think Applejack ever suspected the prim and proper Rarity could throw such a mean snowball, and as a completely random aside I'll admit I was sorely tempted to draw the former pony with one of those ridiculously tacky lumberjack-bomber hats with the big earflaps (which thankfully, I thought better of). Sorely tempted.

It's true, you're quite right and honestly I don't know what ever would have possessed me to type such a thing, unless I thought I was giving voice to the collective fanbase's thoughts and feelings when I wrote that. But *I* personally am inclined to agree with you, and seeing as how I can't seem to stop drawing these two even when I try, I suppose you'll be seeing a lot more of them from me yet! ^_~

Yes, apparently this is my purpose in the pony-world, to fill this terrible chasm devoid of sufficient Applejack and Rarity fanarts and to gently coax the rest of the world into appreciating them more. It wasn't any goal I had in mind or set out to achieve from the beginning, but apparently the rest of the fanbase agrees this is what I do best, and so I suppose I'll be keeping it up.

Oh, you put this back on your front page, ahaha. It is rather appropriate for the season, and honestly I got another laugh out of it despite its age. It's also helped me realize how adorable Applejack looks with that expression, as well as the scarf. It is a simple decoration, but I think it's all that's needed here.

Well that is true, but I don't think she would cheat in such a way unless Applejack really gave her a good reason too! Besides, as we saw in "Look Before You Sleep" during their pillowfight Applejack really can hold her own quite well, too. ^_~

It has only just started cooling off in my own part of southern California about a week ago if you'd believe it, and I couldn't be happier about it... I really do dislike the heat so much!
