EDIT: adjusted contrastbecause it is a quick little fun piece, not my grandest best piece of work.

it was painted from scratch, meaning just sketching with colors and greys on a off-tone camvas until something came up.
3 1/2 hours total.
This was an exercise in restraint on contrast. I used the darkest and almost brightest shade in the beginning of the piece, and avoided going much darker or brighter throughout.

I love anything that involves a human with animal ears and a tail XD I don't typically love nude pictures, just because I'm conservative I guess you could say, but I do love this picture. I'm not good at describing my feelings at all, so all I can say is there is just "something about it". It seems very mysterious, as well as, of course, sexy.

You probably already know this... Heck you probably know more about the subject then I do your name referring to a shape shifting cat... Lol.
I have about half a dozen stories involving kitsune at least three where they are pro/antagonist's I'm always looking for awesome pic's like this one.
Notably you don't need nine-tails for a kitsune. The nine-tails are mainly so popular in folk-lore because of their 'omniscience' as they can hear around the world and their 'omfg' power levels. The kind of power that short's out Vegeta's scanner with sparks, smoke, and melty bits.
Three and Seven tails are the next most common but any combination up to or including nine works just fine. Depending on which branch of folk-lore, anime, or historical fiction you happen to be reading at the time. It's even known for the fox/'s to hide the true number of their tails. At the very least even a two or three tail fox has enough power to create an illusion of as many tails as they like. After all were talking about notorious shape shifters and tricksters fit to make the indian's old man coyote cross his eyes.
Heck this oc might be a four tailed fox and her three servant's there are her other tails. I rather like the idea actually; think I'll stick with that visual of her...
Back on subject; the other reason nine is such a 'common number' is because kitsune supposedily earn a new tail every 100 years. By the time they receive their ninth they are between 901-1000 years old. Old, powerful, and all kinds of dangerous kami are usually at least a millennium old. At which point they 'evolve' into their ultimate 'god like' form. Inari fox's are white or blonde; most 9 tails are drawn as white, silver, or blond furred. Most drawn with less are red haired for some reason. I'm thinking the nine-tails myth just about has to be linked to being Inari's messenger's somehow... Unfortunately I've never been able to find anything that says one way or another.
Anyway if you say it's a kitsune; it's a kitsune. No need to worry about all nine tails. They'd just get in the way anyway... Maybe for some kind of 'royal' occasion breaking out all nine would make sense... A status symbol of sorts? When I noticed you were chatting about the Kitsune myth's with a fellow a few pages back... I couldn't help throwing in my two bits as I'm a huge fan of the legend.
Also Agreed; wolves spirit or otherwise are usually 'cooler' but kitsune are almost always 'hotter' 
Speaking of which; Awesome pic. I've added it to my fav's although I had a bit of a conundrum deciding whether to toss it into my busty or wolf/fox/dragon or my action/oc's collection. I considered all three but decided that would be too much.
No critique; however I do love what the hair does for the eyes 
Anyway wish I could draw in a month what you did in three hours... Alas my fingers aren't steady enough; I can eventually create something if I spend endless hours hitting ctrl+z but I much prefer to write. I am overtaken by the constant oneness between the fox madam and her fox mates...how her furry tail is so magically detailed and how her vag hair matches that is very interesting and I giggled too...heh...The color really brings out the essence of the season in which foxes are predominantly seen. For a QUICK piece this is.....AWE-INSPIRING and you got it down girl.

i actually used to draw boobs without nipples and ken dolls, i didnt have any interest in drawing nudes. and while i still dont have a real interest in drawing a penis. i;'d say i did grow up and dont care anymore. but a penis just isn't the most beautiful thing to draw

Ha I know what you mean. I tend to not draw nudes simply because A)I'm not sure I could because I haven't tried and B) because I think drawing cloths is a lot more fun haha. It's not because I feel like "Ew nekkid is icky" Because I don't think that at all. I'm totally comfortable with nudity. It's just I'm quite lazy and I never had the thought "I feel like drawing a beautiful naked woman today!" Haha

well generally i start out with a naked figure, then clothe them. and sometimes i really dont want to cover up what ive drawn, more and more my characters are becoming nudes because of that one factor alone! haha.

Oh I completly know what you're talking about. That's why a good protion of what I draw ends up half naked because I hate that I took so much time to draw the body only to cover it up with clothing. XD

You can't stop me from praising that glorious tail on her, though! Styled as if it could sweep anything away ... that is, if her lovely, regal look of disdain (or mastery) didn't do so first.

Ahh I see just searched Kitsune up its interesting japanese folklore has all kinds of great figures.Sorry to fail at realizing it never read any type of japanese folklore before and sadly read they can get up to nine tails then naruto came to mind lol i think on impulse sorry
