yes, most of it is the same, or sloppy.i realy do miss the days when i could sit around on an actual day off and do my own art all day.

fairy and a library be still my heart two of my most favorite things. as i cant actually draw or anything close to it i dont even notice the sloppy parts coz i dont see them lol but i love all the books and the beautiful gold light

What a lovely piece of art. The setting and the details are just as enchanting as the faerie--makes me want to step into her world for some magic lessons or a sip of whatever is in that cup she's drinking from. I love the way you did her hair; I liked a lot of the other details too, especially her top, her her rings and her bracelet. The transparent wings are beautiful.
I wonder what she's thinking or (shutters pleasantly at the thought) who she's watching.

I so agree with your comment. I feel that if you are happy with the way it turned out, then so be it!!! Usually the people giving the critique need to take their own advice. (Not trying to be rude, but just telling the truth.) If you asked for it, then no problem. It just annoys me when people put their two cents in and they aren't at the level that you are at when it comes to drawing or coloring (at the level, meaning having experience). They're still drawing stick people!!! Oh well, you'll always have the critics out there with nothing better to do. I feel that we can all learn from eachother by observation alone, not word of mouth. Wonderful piece by the way.

Like the Extra light you have added and the softer tone that you have given this piece. Very beautiful. You are so good at picking colors. Also like that you pulled off having Lots of detail Without having it seem too busy and distracting from the focus of the piece.

thats something i definitely used to have trouble with, i'd detail everything so much. one of my oncetime mentors told me, your eyes go right to those bright highlights, so you can't detail everything, sometimes you have to just let some of it go
