Ha! Finally I got round to portray the second half of my favourite band "Deine Lakaien": Mr. Ernst Horn. ("Ernst" equals "Earnest" in English
)To quote Wikipedia:
Ernst Horn became famous through the band Deine Lakaien which he founded in 1985 with Alexander Veljanov, the popularity of this band has far exceeded the borders of the German speaking countries. He has also been successful with many other projects in which he took part - in addition to his activity in the bands Qntal and Helium Vola which play medieval music he composes and plays electronic music for dramas and radio plays.

I did listen to the songs. And they are so thoughtful and introspective. And well, it's OK that he doesn't like the media craze. But, oh, my, such songs.

I too think, that Ernst looks wonderful. With all those wrinkles and the silver threads in his blond hair.
His music touches me deeply. It's always melodious, often very playful and truely unique.

wow..das ist so toll, dass du ihn gezeichnet hast.. es ist einfach irgendwie ungerecht, dass alle Liebe sehr oft nur zu Herr Veljanov geht^^..
und das ist wirklich so schoen geworden! besonders mag ich die Augen <3

Nun ja, Herr Veljanov ist schon allein aufgrund seines eigenwilligen Stylings der auffälligere der beiden... der Paradiesvogel sozusagen. 
Und jetzt, beim Studieren seines Gesichts, konnte ich seiner ganz eigenen Schönheit nachspüren. Er leuchtet irgendwie von innen, das ist wunderbar.

das war echt ein wirkliches Maerchen fuer mich! Ein der besten Konzerte in meinem Leben. Damals haben sie akustisch gespielt...
Und dann hat Ernst Horn mit den Fans so lange gesprochen... und ich konnte sein Licht auch sehen..

Ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass sie ihre russischen und auch andere osteuropäische Fans sehr mögen... die Lakaien werden sich also sicher noch öfter bei Euch blicken lassen.

I just love the way you've done his expression; it looks for me that he has a little,
slightly visible, strained smile on his face. It looks really interesting.
Also, you've done his eyes, lips and hair wonderfully! Awesome detail and enviable good shading!

Yes, it's super that you see the hint of "strain" in his smile - Mr. Horn doesn't like the whole PR circus that is connected with the music business at all, so he tends to look often a bit tense on public photos. And yet, he seems like an incredible likeable fellow.

Erm, you do know my two portraits of Mr AV, don't you (well actually two and a half, if you count in "Spot the Mistake" which shows a not "complete" Alexander... without his "birdnest" he looks only half himself
