Soooo...yea. I bought the Okami art book about a month back and it really inspired me to do a little fan art. (nothing wrong with that right?) So here we are with Amaterasu, Okikurmi, and Issun all ready to pound the snot out of Waka. Why? Because they can.One of my favorite video games ever. Whats not to like: the Japanese sun goddess comes to save the world with her magic art brush in the guise of a white wolf, all done in the style of Japanese painting.
There are three of these, because I did two and you just can't end on two. Plus now there's one for each kind of divine instrument. This one is the sword.
I also wanted to say I still hate my scanner and if what I just wrote doesn't make any sense it's because I am sick...the other two might have to be uploaded tomorrow...or later in the event that I die, either way.

Ooo. I wonder who would win. Still, it's a bit unfair for Waka to have two wolves versing him!
This is one of the best Okami arts I have seen. Ammy and Oki look almost as good as in the game. I wish that Oki was in the game more, but playing with him in Wawaka Shrine is alright.
I love the way you've put plants at Ammy's feet, but I think in the snow, its more ice-plants then green plants...meh. Also, what is her Glaive? Is that the Seven Strike, or another one?
Ammy- 'Not this guy again?! What is with him?'

you know, everyone around me says that Okami is like one of the best games, but i've never gotten the chance to play it. am i really missing out that much?

This would've been awesome if it actually happened in the game (unless it did; I haven't played Okami in a year or so).
Anyways, I really like how you handled Ammy. Most of the Okami fanart I see usually isn't as fittingly simple. The pure white space and elegant markings/outlines are what make the character, and it's good to see that in action here.
P.S. I am super-jealous that you own that book.
