Don't ask me where THIS one came from.

Okay, actually, this came from an idea that had been running around my mind for awhile now in relation to my in-progress BMFM/TMNT crossover fanfic, "Of Biker Mice and Ninja Turtles". I had entertained the idea for awhile of making Leo Wolf's LifeMate in some of the later chapters, but due to different reasons (I prefer a Wolf-Raph pairing, actually), it just kinda/sorta fell by the wayside.

You might notice that Leo is a bit scarred up here and has lost his right eye. Well, that comes from the fic-idea that I had for him. See, the ROUGH idea behind this was that Raph, Donnie and Mikey get captured and held hostage by Wolf's worst and most-hated enemy, another female Martian Mouse named Mirage, who also trained as a Ninja under the same Master as Wolf, Master Sandstorm, before a strange illness stole her mind and she went mad and turned rouge. Mirage, who from somewhere has gotten the idea that Leo is Wolf's chosen mate, has determined that she's going to put a stop to this by TAKING her hated enemy's chosen, thereby desroying her happiness. So she captured the other Turtles, then leaves Leo a note to the effect that if he wants to see his brothers alive again, he'll meet her at a specified location. Or else.

Leo, of course, being the conscientious brother and leader that he is, does exactly this, and is allowed to see and talk to his captive brothers before Mirage herself shows up and says she wants to discuss a matter of importance with him. He agrees, and, once they are alone, just the two of them, she very bluntly informs him that, if he wants his brothers to go free, and NOT be bothered again, he'll surrender himself to her, and obey her every whim. Leo wants to know if she will keep her word, because THAT is the ONLY way that he'll submit to her demands. She very indignantly informs him that she ALWAYS keeps her word, which, in point of fact, she always does. He wants to know what his service to her will involve, and she very bluntly informs him that his service TO her will be in her bed-chambers ONLY (I leave you all to figure out what THAT means!), fulfilling her every desire. Leo, of course, tumbles to her meaning VERY quickly, and, being that he IS a warrior, the mere thought of being only a bed-toy to her sickens him, quite naturally. She then informs him that IF he does NOT agree, his brothers will ALL suffer that fate. Seeing no way out of it, Leo submits, asking only to be allowed to talk to his beloved brothers one last time and say "good-bye" to them. He also wishes to place his equally-beloved and treasured katanas in Raphael's keeping until he see them again. He asks how long his "service" to her will be, and she merely says, "Til I'M done with you." Which Leo reads, quite correctly, to mean that he will be her slave til she tires of him.

Once their conversation is done, he's allowed to see his bros again, and Mirage orders her second-in-command, a huge male Mouse named Dagger, to give Leo the keys to the cages that the other Turtles are confined in, so that he can free them, and then untie them. Once free, Raph urges Leo to make a break for it, all of them, only to have his big brother sadly inform him, and Donnie and Mikey, that he has struck a bargain with Mirage for THEIR freedom, but not his own. Raph demands to know what it is, and Leo tells him. The three are shocked speechless, but not more so than when he slips his sheathed katanas from his back and places them in the stunned Raphael's care, with a tearful hug, and a whispered, "Take care of them for me, okay?" It doesn't take Raph long to figure out that it ISN'T just his katanas that Leo is talking about.

Their parting is a short one, as Mirage appears and tells the other Turtles that they are now free to go. Not that they want to, but they do, however reluctantly, after telling Leo to take care and that they'll take care of not only themselves, but Master Splinter, April and Casey, as well. Just before Raph leaves his sight, Leo asks him to wear his katanas for him, so they'll always be close to each other. Raph, with tears in his eyes, says he will, then, reluctantly, he, Donnie and Mikey leave...AFTER he has slipped the shoulder-belt of Leo's katanas over his own shoulder, to wear them til he sees his big brother, and twin, again.

It will be awhile before this happens, as you can guess.

Anyway, once his brothers are gone, Leo submits to having his wrists and ankles shackled, though he reminds Mirage that he gave her his word of honor that he is now hers, and he would NOT try to escape. Mirage tells him it is simply a precaution on her part and that she ISN'T worried about him attempting to escape, word of honor or no, because they will not be on Earth much longer, anyway. When she tells him this, the now-shackled Leo realizes that she intends to take him somewhere OFF-planet, where his brothers wouldn't be able to mount a rescue even if they wanted to!

A few hours later, Mirage's words prove true, as Leo finds himself taken aboard her personal cruiser, and transported far across the galaxy, to the planet called Ciros4, Mirage's long-time home since leaving Mars some years before. Here it is that his humilating service to his new "mistress" begins.

Nothing need be said of his ordeal; I leave THAT to YOUR fertile imaginations. Suffice it to say, he suffers much in her service, learning just how mercurial her temper can be during the course of that service.

And it finally gets to the point that even Mirage's cousin and second-in-command, Dagger, who has come to like and respect Leo, can no longer stand to see the young ninja suffer so at his cousin's hands, so he helps him to escape, joining him and promising to help him get home.

Before this, however, Dagger knows Leo needs new weapons, so he takes him to a tribe of Cirosian natives who live in the hills behind Mirage's estate, to their shamaness, who has knowledge of a pair of legendary swords that can only be won by a warrior of great courage,and more importantly, of high honor. She instructs the swiftly-healing Leo in what he must know and do to be able to win these fabled blades, called the "Dragon Katanas", and he determines to do so. Once fully healed, he does just that, winning the respect of the tribe, and even more so of Dagger, who has come to look upon him as a little brother.

Once Leo has fully healed, and won his new weapons, he and Dagger leave Ciros4, and eventually, after many adventures and vissitudes, find their way to Mars. Here, the young ninja is reunited with Wolf, who left Earth some years before to fight in the renewed Martian/Plutarkian War. And it is during THIS time that Leo ralizes that he has, indeed, fallen in love with Wolf, and she with him. Consequently, the pair become LifeMates, and Leo is accepted into the Resistance, eventually rising to the rank of Lieutenent-Commander. This is the outfit he's wearing in my pic of him here.

Anyway, long story short (?!), he grows to love Mars, as well as his mate's people, and determines to stay and serve the planet and people that he has come to love so dearly. And eventually, he is reunited with the family he was torn from so heartlessly 10 years before, and they come to choose to make Mars their home, as well, as, in they scenario in this abandoned version of my fanfic, the Plutarkians have full-out invaded Earth, accomplishing what the Tricerations failed, the total conquest of Earth, and the near-eradication of her native races, which prompted the evacuation, under the auspices of the Martian government, of any and all Terrans who had no desire to be the slaves of the stinkfish. This INCLUDED Leo's family, whom he, Wolf and a Freedom Fighter patrol eventually find in a refugee-camp run by a band of Martian Rats, and run badly. Anyway, once he is reunited with the older brother he long thought lost to him, Raph attempts to return Leo's original katanas to him...only to have Leo gently tell him that he's earned to right to keep them. Which he does.

And so went this abandoned version of my fic. However, I just consider the art that I did for it too good to just let lay in my TMNT art folder, so I decide to share them with everybody. I hope you like my rather...er, UNUSUAL...take on the Turtles' conscientious young leader.

Oh, bear in mind that he's about 28 years old in this pic, 10 years having passed since he surrendered to Mirage to save his brothers from the fate that HE suffered at her hands. (All fout Turtles are 18 years old in my ongoing fic.)

Oh, and the lineart version of this will be uploaded to my "craps" Gallery before long. I hope y'all like IT as much as you do this version.
