Description
This is the colored version of my Raphael lineart pic. I FINALLY got off me lazy tush and got it colored!Hope y'all like. This is one of my first attempts with colored pencils, as I USUALLY use markers. (And a marker-colored version of this will be up soon. I will ALSO be moving the lineart version to my "Scraps" Gallery once this is in my MAIN Gallery.)
Any and all comments and critiques are welcome.

Cool, thou it seems a bit painful. I like the pose, and how you did his shadow, and the expression ("Bet you can't do this one, Leo!"). Yellow background works very good with making the green pop out.

Awesome job. I love how you've got the sai balanced on one finger. 'Cause everyone knows Raph is just that cool. Your shading is very well done. I don't know why but I want to squeal "cute shadow" every time I see that sai's shadow. Meh, I'm weird.
It looks like you pulled it right from the show. How'd you get the coloring so natural looking with colored pencils?

This is gorgeous.
The shading is great - very hard-edged, specifically lined up with the subject (Raph/sai) - you can tell exactly where the light source is. I love how sharp it is where his body is close to the wall/ledge (and where his leg/sai are directly between it and your light source), and then fades slightly where more light is getting past him.
I also love the variations in brick color.
It's been said, but it bears repeating: You draw Raphael very well. He looks like he came straight out of the show.
And I love the pose.

And I hope so. Fortunately, the slow comp issue will be a thing of the past soon, because as soon as I get my income tax refund this year, I'm getting a brand new one! I was hoping to get an HP or a Compaq, but it looks NOW like I'm leaning more toward an Acer brand one. Ever hear of that brand? Just curious.
Yeah, dial-up IS horribly slow, isn't it? THAT'S why I'M going to get high-speed Internet when I get my now comp (well, that's the PLAN, anyway! LOL).

Yeah, this thing that I've got now is going on SEVEN years old (I got it back in July of 2001), and it's operating system, Windows ME, is pretty much obsolete now. (Microsoft won't even support it now, whatever THAT means (but I know that it AIN'T good!)) So the new comp is a long time coming, and I'm hoping to get one (of WHATEVER brand!) that has WinXP on it. The reason being for that is that I haven't heard very many good things about Vista.
Heh, yeah. High speed WOULD be awesome! Although in MY humble opinion, it'd be even BETTER if High-speed would cost the same as dial-up. Now THAT would be sweet!

I've been meaning to get off me lazy tush and get a copy of it colored in markers and get it posted, too, but I just haven't gotten around to it. (Gotta GET me one of those one of these days..........)
Look for it soon. I just hope that my darned SCANNER doesn't screw the colors up on it.

If you still have the line art I would love to see that! I think coloring such a drawing might take away from some of the detail.
