Description I just got a whim to draw and upload these the other night, as pole-weapons; spears, lances; etc.; of all kinds interest me. And, I must admit, I also did it for a friend of mine here, Tigerfog, who, I think, is looking for a pole weapon for one of his TMNT fan-characters. (I think; don't hold me to that, please.) Anyway, Tigerfog, I hope you can use these for Renoir, or whoever. The weapons descriptions are immediately below, and are excepts taken directly from the Palladium Books RPG Sourcebooks that I got them from, so I given all credit to the folks at Palladium for these. Anyway, here we go:

*****************

Naginata (TOP pic)/Yari (MIDDLE pic) (Japan (I'm assuming)):
"Naginata have CURVED blades and Yari have have STRAIGHT blades. Otherwise, BOTH of these weapons are alike and are used as spears. They are very difficult to conceal."
(Except from the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Strangeness" RPG Sourcebook published by Palladium Books, under
Ancient Weapons".)

Arbir (Malaysian Staff Weapon) (BOTTOM pic):
"The arbir is a bladed staff used on Java and in many other parts of Malaysia, as well. The arbir consists of a wooden staff which is pointed on one end. On the other end is attached a rather wide, curved blade. In this form attacks can be made by cutting or thrusting with the blade or by striking with the pointed wooden end. The staff of an arbir is grooved opposite the the sharp edge of the blade. This feature enables the user to know exactly wher the cutting edge is as he executes intricate manuvers."
(Except taken directly from "The Palladium Book of Exotic Weapons" Sourcebook, also published (Duh!) by Palladium books.

******************

I just thought that the arbir looked kinda interesting, so I included it with the others. Enjoy.
