I'm a senior and I have off-campus, meaning that I leave earlier.I was coming back from my AP Bio teacher since I was asking her about some work that I didnt understand.
I usually leave from the front of my school, but my class was near the back of the school so I decided to tell my mom to pick me up there.
As I was getting out from the back door, I notice a security guard coming into the school. And he decided to stop me.
I was literally a few feet from the gate to get out, but he decided to ask me "Where I was going".
I told him that I had off-campus and he asked me what grade I was in.
Only seniors have the privilege to have off campus if they only have less than 7 classes so I had no idea why he was asking me.
Then he stated that I didnt look like a senior at all instead a freshmen.
Not to offend any freshmen out there- but today wasnt really my best day. \
I forgot to do the laundry and all I had was a skirt. And to top it off I decided to braid my hair half way towards school.
I guess my appearance made me look like a kid or something.(since im kinda short for my age)
Because the security guard didnt believe me at all.
I had to end up showing him my school ID and Off-Campus ID. This was the first time that they asked me. Usually they dont care..
My mom witness the entire thing from her car and she tought it was hilarious
Anyways thats what happened >.>
Well i have no school tomorrow yay~

Hehe... Awwwww.... I feel the pain Rosey... To some extent. People always think I look younger than I really am, both when I was in high school, and still to this day. In high school, but it really got annoying how people kept thinking you were your own younger brother who's three years and grades below you.
Anyway, you know I kinda like this messy look, in fact, I think sometimes girls can look cute when they look like a bit of a mess. The messy braids? The torn up leggings? The skirt? (Btw, I forget to do some laundry all the time! XD don't feel bad, I got places many times forgetting to wash some clothes the night before

Hahaha thats what 99.9% of me actually looks like at school. I really dont give damn as much like in 9th grade.
Hehe i usually wear the skinny kaki jeans but i usually have a spare skirt when I have nothing to wear and Im desperate xD

Actually, I think it's a blessing in disguise. I still haven't got my high school diploma because my parents were WAY too sheltering. I also do not know how to drive because I was never allowed to learn. They won't let me move out either.

Because they think I will not be able to receive my SSI income if I am no longer under their roof. I told them I could just march right out and get a job like any other human being and they lambasted me because I don't want to work at the store they suggested. They have always hated the idea I want to be a vet and thought working at a pet-shop would be a better choice because I could kill two birds with one stone (get the money I need and get my animal experience for vet school).And my parents claim I'M the one who keeps them hostage. I've been so sick lately (possible appendicitis and my mom won't take me to the hospital because I have an appointment with a GI doctor on the 23rd) that I'm too weak to walk to the police station and tell them my situation. I doubt they would believe me anyway or that my mom would just turn everything around and say she's the victim.

What you should do is get a job, and when you have enough money and know where you can live, like maybe at aa friends house or a small apartment, you can move out. And why? Being a vet isnt a bad thing at all.

I remember when i was at middel svchool they made everyone wear belts and tuck in our shirts and stuff like that. and I hated it when you forgot your ID , they made you buy a temporary one -__-
Well that was my middle school lol
And well in highschool (my highschool) they dont really check ID as much, usually towards the beggining and the end of the school year. I usually keep my ID in my backpack.

When I was a junior, my last class was lunch, so I got to leave earlier. Now, the high school I went to was a public high school, but it was closed-campus. That meant if a student cut class and left early, he/she was not allowed back onto school grounds for the rest of the day. Students were also required to wear their IDs like a necklace while at school. Because of all that, I had no problem showing security my ID for any reason. I knew the school's rules and I respected and followed them, although there were a few times I was tardy because of something beyond my control. My mother helped me out with those times. Today, she works at the very same high school.

Well I do go to a public high school
Seniors can only have off campus(and the only ones to leave early) who has less than 7 classes. I get out two hours early because i only have 5 classes- well i would have 4 but then i was put into this class that i needed to graduate.
And usually students leave during lunch which your not suppose to do since its off campus. And when they get caught then they get suspension and stuff like that.
Well we are suppose to wear our ID's but no one really does it- i just have mines in my wallet.
And I always get to school late, but my AP Bio teacher doesnt mind since half of her class get there pretty late xD

I feel ya, it happens to me all the time. Usually other students tell me, they thought I was a sophomore while I was really a senior.
Everyone thinks I'm younger than I look, and to top it all off I'm one of the oldest in my class. XD
Also I got kinda lazy with my appearance since i was at the stage where I was sick with senioritis and I just wanted to get out of high school.
but gosh to prevent u from leaving the school and telling u something like that, which is pretty offensive in my opinion, i would of been pissseddd!

I was rather annoyed and pissed at the same time, but I knew if I talked back then i would have gotten suspended or something.. lol
And that is soo true! I usually dont give a damn on how I look anymore xD (mostly because of senioritis!)
I can look pretty sloppy at times and I always wear my over sized school hoodie because its comfty!~

That reminds me of my long lost cousin, Edwin, or who I like to call , Edwina: he is in 5th grade right now but he is so small he looks like a 3rd grader, he even told me that one day he was late to school and the secretary wrote down his name and grade...and she put his grade down as a 2nd grader! XD
He then went back to the office saying he wans't a 2nd grader he was a 5th grader....this made me laugh LOL
