Description My first real 3D render using DAZ software.

A cute anime-style cat-girl pouncing on her prey, a dancing dragonfly.

I have been fascinated with the concept of cat-girls ever since my childhood watching the old Batman and Robin TV series, when-ever Catwoman was on, her purrs and her slick tightly-clothed body and sensual appearance stirred my first sexual responses and has continued to stir my imagination.

I actually stole most of the scene from the programs starter scene, moved the dragonfly and posed it, and added Neko, a standard model with one of their "costumes" and then modified a pose to look like she's doing the feline "scream and leap."

Thanks, actually I cheated lots, the catgirl was the only thing that wasn't a stock part of the set. I just thought it would be funny if I put a catgirl into that scene pouncing at the dragonfly.

That was one of my first fully-finished renders. I've since figured out some mistakes I made with it, but my attempts to load the scene to fix it have all failed. I'm reasonably happy with it still though. She looks like she's having fun playing "catch."

Well not everything has to be exactly perfect for a picture to be good. Of course when you are better you often want to update or improve on the little bits that niggles and fix flaws. It does look a happy fun picture. Im glad your still happy with it. i look at a lot of my old works and cringe.

I know what you mean. Some of the pictures I did after this one I STILL want to tear apart and fix, because there were MAJOR flaws that needed revision. But attempts to do so proved problematic. This one how-ever really is just fine the way it is, though I COULD for instance put shadows into it, but other than that, there really isn't much that REALLY needs to be fixed, which means that it's probably one of MY favorites of my original work. And it's rather fun to look at, a silly little catgirl running around the forest chasing dragonflies.

My cat chases bugs around the apt too. It's funny when they land on the wall out of her reach and she sits under them looking up and gives me her "come help me please" meow, begging me to come and chase the bug down to where she can get it.
