Hi ya'll.

So, Mendol-Ikemen Idol fan art, showcasing the 'charismatic songstress' Ray, and Kai, a member of the all-male band Persona.

Some back-story: Ray's the number one idol in Japan. She falls for Kai, who's brash and doesn't hesitate to stand up to her and talk back, something no one has done before. But what she doesn't know is that Kai is really Kawachi Nami, a girl running away from the Yakuza and who is disguising herself as a male to hide. Nami supposedly HATES everything that has to do with L's (lesbianism), and wants nothing to do with Ray.

Heh. Supposedly.

But anyway. The whole J-drama is full of hijinks and yuri and yaoi, and is great fun. This picture came about after a full nine hours of working on a fanfiction the night before. The fanfiction's not done yet, but I've been missing drawing lately, so I ACTUALLY SAT DOWN AND DREW! *gasps*

While this is technically finished, it's really the 'finished before being inked' version. When I'm awake, I'll ink it. But I like it so much I wanted to post this 'rougher' version first.

I definately HAD to use reference on this pic, and if you're curious, I used a stock by , which you can find here: [link] I changed things around and added my own flair (which you'll definately be able to see), but I couldn't have gotten anywhere without it.
