Wren has not seen Renier since the night they became mates. She doesn't know where he went, or why, but she trusts that he will return to her as he always has in the past. In his absence she often sneaks to the Brisbane forest to the place where she first fell in love with him, and nurtures the tiny seedling he showed her growing from the dismal ashes, promising a bright future for Brisbane. Wren feels the stirring of new life within her too, but with this new life carries a future too dark and too uncertain for her to see.

Oh yeah, that is the version that I listened to for most of this! It definitely fits the mood between the two right now more than any other love song I have heard. I also like the Metallica version a lot, though, so I listened to both drawing this. Such a good song <33
Thanks so much <3 She is pretty tired and stress. She's literally messed everything up, dragged Nyru into it, and there is now literally no escape because she is now pregnant. After so long looking for a pack and finally finding a place to call home after years, she is finding it pretty hard to fathom that she is just about to lose it all because of her own stupidity.
