Loki stopped walking, the light of the sunrise spilling over the trees, dying their pelt in glorious morning colours. His green eyes seemed to glow as he watched his friend and listened to her words. They brought confidence to his heart, and raised his will to protect those that he loved. It was truly admirable, what this she-wolf was promising. She had been through so much, and was holding a lot on the line, including her life and the life of her daughter. Loki knew that it must have taken a lot of strength and faith to be able to say such things, which just made the black male respect her even more. Her words held a double meaning. Although she had been physically trapped inside the den, it seemed like she was finally coming out of her shell, emotionally. Gaining the strength to re-engage with her pack-mates. Face the future and forget the past. Loki reached forwards and touched his nose to Wren's forehead.

He pulled away, a new strength flowing through his veins. He knew now that they would have a fighting chance. The support of the friends and family was all they needed to prevail. He raised his tail in confidence and stated, "Thank you Wren. I will make sure that your courage is admired and cherished. We will stand together in this. All of us." he paused, setting his sites on the rising sun.

"We are not alone."

I love Loki so much, he is such strong support for Wren. I had to draw this scene when we rped it.

It's messed up that this is my first picture of these two. I have another sketch of them, but I just never got around to finishing it. I ought to, because for someone who is such a big part of Wren's life, he definitely deserves more art from me.

His sleeping mate was still curled up in the nest, her fur soft and delicate. Loki imaged that she had been busy, training to be a member of Vale, hence her exhausted stance. Sighing, the black male padded outside, into the camp. The sun was only just rising, leaving the terrain icy, but the Sentinel was getting used to the early morning chill. He found his gaze travel instinctively towards the King and Queen's den. The black watch wolves hadn't made a point of guarding it, so Loki made his way over. His stomach was in his mouth as he peered inside, praying that the black Alpha wasn't home.
To his relief, Renier was no-where to be seen. Loki turned his head around, to make sure he wasn't being spied on by any of the King's guards. When he reassured himself that the coast was clear, Loki made his way into the den, stepping in a few
