While i am not a fan of Haruhi Suzumiya's series, Mikuru is so adorable that i had to buy a figure of her. And to be honest, from all the gashapons i saw of her, this is the one i liked the most. And no, it has nothing to do with the maid outfit. But i do admit it really well done, it looks exactly like the one from the anime. ^^ Yeh, yeh, i know, its suppose to look like the anime but some figures just dont translate that well. Am i right?
Like i mentioned early, this figure show some flexibility in her hair and the uniform. Articulation? Not much, just the head like in most of the other gashapons i reviewed.
Its really nice how the hair and clothes also follows the movement of her body. Something i should learn to do so this sort of figures are also good reference for drawing purposes.
All the details this figure has were done so carefully like the shoes, the small tag in her chest, the ribbons and even the buttons! ^^ And no excess or lack of painting either!
The only thing you can call "defect" is on her right leg where you can clearly see the separations of the parts but that can easily be forgotten when looking at the figure complete.
Oh, another thing i should mention is that the top part of the support can rotate. I still dont get it why since its suppose to hold the legs in one single position. You cant put Mikuru in other pose. :S I guess thats also a minor detail to ignore.
Well, since in this photos you can see the dress allows some fan service, we probably should go to the last set of photos to see..ehem..more. XD
