Hi all,It's been a while since I've uploaded something, so here's a recreation of the second illustration of my favourite RWS book, 'Enterprising Engines'. I used it to play around with TANE's weather effects a bit. I had a feeling that rain would suit the scene. Speaking of which:

"Is it true, sir, what the diesels say?"
"What do they say?"
"They boast that they've abolished steam, sir."
"Yes Gordon, it's true."
"What, sir?! All my Doncaster brothers, drawn the same time as me?"
"All gone, except one."
The guard's whistle blew, and Gordon puffed sadly away.

I see that you took this screenshot as a foreshadowing of the new Flying Scotsman model, totally didn't see it coming, though.

It was the first in a sequence. They were all posted over about 2-3 hours, including the ones by WarshipNo.10. Due to the time difference, this was the only one that went up before the UK fans went to bed.

From what I see mostly from T:ANE, it's mostly the same, just with some more useful features like rolling stock slightly tilting while moving along, which is a nice touch. Does that effect apply to fan-made models like the Thomas Trainz models? Or only if they're programmed to?

I think they have to be programmed for it. There's also a new graphics/lighting engine, which is called the E2 engine.
So when I use my model of Thomas, I have an E2 engine being rendered on an E2 engine.

Hmm.
I'm well aware of that because I backed T:ANE. It sucks that I can't run it without the framerate being total freakin' garbage. And that's why I stick with 2009.

Impressive, the weather in the background looks spot on. How's T:ANE working out for you? I've been hoping to get it myself, but I heard they haven't implemented in the scripting yet which is required for the face changing on the engines?

The scripting works. There's just an adjustment of the facepacks needed.

You need to create a .texture.txt file for each face, then update the config file to point to it (e.g. happy.texture, instead of happy.jpg).
