True stuff, might there be a particular deity the altar is devoted to? Out of humble curiosity of course...

Interesting, but there wasn't really any kind of weird rituals on Samhain. It was pretty much just kids getting in costumes and trick or treating, accompanied with a bonfire feast to bring in the Celtic New Year and honour the dead. And the pentagram isn't a Celtic symbol, it's a Christian one. Despite what those silly wiccans believe, it never had anything to do with western paganism, in any way. You'd be better off with a Celtic weave, or even a common Jack-o-Lantern, since we made those too.

What??? Pentagram is a christian symbol??? Christians came AFTER celts and "pagans" and stole all of the symbols and feast!! They even stole the cross symbol, they were building their churches on the old places, that were sacred for pagans. All the symbols, that are Christians using, are very much older, than this silly faith. Christians are nothing, but thieves!
And Im not a wiccan, for your information.
...Weird rituals... The costumes, that are people wearing on Halloween today... in the past time, it was a "protective" thing, because people believed, that the ghosts, wandering on earth in the time of Samhain will be confused and will not harm you.
If you want to look as a "clever" one, get your informations right.
Enough said. Thank you.

Beautiful setup! I wish I could have done something like this on Samhain, but it's so hard with a hubby who's an atheist. *sigh*

Can I ask what each of these pieces is? I'm always curious about other people's altars,

Lovely setup. Thanks for the explanation... I wish I had the pentacle you have. I should save money and get one, but I never seem to manage that. Each of your pieces are very special- it must've taken you awhile to collect them all.
