Leptobos was a genus of cattle that was found in Europe and Asia, from 3.2 million years ago to 12 000 years ago - very recent.Β The name means 'light ox' and they were comparatively lightly built, but still had some fine horns!Β Leptobos could weigh up to 320 kg.Related content

Hello!Β I don't know how much bigger crassus was ... I just did etruscus because I had a nice photo of the skeleton.Β I pretty much stick to reconstructions based on good skeletal material.Β There wasn't much of that I could find for crassus.

Italian wikipedia has a pretty good page about this animal, and a lot of other extinct genera that in english and spanish wikipedia for some reason have barely any text.
