man, before i posted that i was having paradoxes between lyra advoiding being a mainstream human and being a hipster pony
it was like 'trying to eat healthy' but ''avoid eating fruits and vegetables', the two just didn't mix
heh, i never noticed how hipsters were irionic, but now i think about it, it does make sence, its the coolest thing ever...until it becomes mainstream, like transformers after M. bay revived it

Well. If part of your identity/label is being "not-mainstream", you're eventually going to encounter problems when everything else of identity and the label itself goes mainstream. Duh.
It thusly always seemed kinda silly to me of the coveted nature of exclusivity. Meh. I guess it has something to do with human nature... We all want to be part of that soemthing special, which sometimes goes too far and becomes the only identifying feature of it.
