I'm not sure if I've ever done something entirely in pastel colors before. It was a little scary at first but I think I could get accustomed to using them some more...in moderation, of course.This is a hand-tooled and shaped leather mask, painted in acrylics and set with a rose quartz. It is the second in a series of Seasons masks based on my Seasons stories (Summer can be found here: [link] ) This mask represents Spring in her bird form.

Oh wow.. pastels definitely are new for you, but I think it definitely works. Very feminine in shape as well!
And thought- maybe this shaped beak for my commission? It's sorta inbetween the raven and raptor beaks right? Ish? lol

very nice- it reminds me somewhat of the hummingbirds that travel through my area in the spring
Good choice with the rose quartz, it's a very bright and festive stone
Great masks! I have one question though- how on earth do you get the edges to stay curled like that? I can tool leather, but I've always had a hard time shaping it.

This is just so lovely. I love the soft pastel colors of spring on this quite stunning leather mask. Can't wait to see what you come with for the next 2 masks. I love wolves a lot. Best of luck.

Winter's going to be a bit of a challenge since she doesn't have a bird form (she's the mother of the three daughters). I do tend to associate her with white wolves, though, so perhaps I'll make a mask along that vein for her.
