Hello everyone,

Sorry about the lateness but... long story short... I went back to regular colouring pencils for this piece which I drew for my mom for Mother's Day. I was trying to come up with a fictional character(who is also a mom) that my mom knows that is part of popular culture and that I hadn't drawn before... and then I thought of Ma Dalton, mother to the Dalton brothers who originated in the Lucky Luke comics. The Dalton brothers were loosely based on the criminal Dalton gang which had some Dalton brothers as members.

Alright, enough chitchat...

By the way, I do not claim to have created any of these characters. Joe, Jack, William, Averell and their mother Ma as well as her cat Sweetie and Rin Tin Can(the not-so-smart dog whose name is Rantanplan in French) all have appeared in the Lucky Luke(the cowboy who shoots faster than his own shadow, shown here all tied up) comics. Lucky Luke was created by Morris and I assume he created the rest of the characters shown here too. At one point, he partnered with the late great René Goscinny(who also wrote all of the Astérix comics before his passing in 1977).

Anyway, enjoy my drawing of these characters.
