Description Alois Trancy from the anime Kuroshitsuji. Dedicated to ~MiharaChan , who loves Alois and wanted me to draw his picture.

In my opinion, this flower really fits him. Just like Alois is not really Alois, the red spider lily, Lycoris radiata, is not really a lily - it belongs to Amaryllis family.

In Hanakotoba, the Language of flowers, red spider lily means "Never to meet again/Lost memory/Abandonment". Poor young Alois, all he really wanted was to be loved, only he was looking for love in the place where it couldn't be found. He ended up abandoned and forgotten by the very person he cared the most about, his butler Claude Faustus, the Spider demon.

I've tried to depict Alois looking at the flower with sorrow in his face, but still trying to smile.

I was listening to Mozart's Lacrimosa (Sorrowful) while working on this picture, it really helped to set the right mood.

You are very welcome, dear. It was a fun project and I'm happy with it. That flower guess was completely random, I just went by the word "spider" in it's name, but it turned out I was right about it in more ways than I thought. I'll let you know whenever I have something I would like you to draw. But for now just enjoy the picture.

The flower was really original for the drawing since it actually looks like a spider!
Instead of always being roses... Though I really loved to see a picture of Alois holding a rose on his mouth. =w= Maybe I'll draw a picture by myself of him with the rose on his mouth.

I'm one smart cookie, am I not? When I tried to think about something symbolic for Alois, the name "spider lily" just popped in my mind. I didn't even know the meaning of it at that time, so I was pleasantly surprised to find all this stuff that proved my intuition was right about it.
