How would Coldius' life been had he served under Cooler instead of Frieza? Would he had stayed on a longer term or would he had still deserted this clan who's sole legacy was bulit upon the innumberable corpses from the planets they've dominated or destroyed in their conquest? Cooler always claims he's nothing like his brother, and while that maybe true to some extent from how he at least treats his subordinates with more respect than Frieza ever had, there is still far too much to compare from their deeds. These two Frost Demon brothers have been at odds with each other for so long that it made Coldius often question the point of them preserving their clan's honor and legacy if they're just going to be killing each other for petty reasons other than simple sibling rivalry.

Serving under this clan of was something Coldius didn't want in his life overtime, as it has involuntarily made him or the rest of his kind culpable for the sins of a family of galactic tyrants and planetary murderers. That's was a founding reason why he sought to leave this clan completely to do some good on his own terms. However, no matter the reason of leaving, Cooler nor Frieza respect any kind of deserters of their people and knowing that there was someone among their kind tarnishing their name and reputation would not go unpunished. The young Frost Demon always knew of this possibility, and while he was thankful for the experience of serving under either of these brothers, he would continue to forge his own destiny away from the blood that was also on his hands, even if it meant becoming both of these siblings' enemies for future battles.

Cooler will always be one of my two favorite movie villains out of everyone in the franchise, the other being my boy, Janemba. A lot of folks say Toei or whoever's in charge should add him in the canon story, especially now that Frieza knows what fusion is after seeing Gogeta. But my thing is that how are they gonna do that considering in Cooler's respect from the movie, he sought vengeance upon Goku and friends for the "disgrace of his family" after the immediate news of his brother apparent death back on Namek. It wouldn't make any sense for him to still be like that considering Frieza was dead for years and then in those same amount of years later way after Frieza's first death, THEN he shows up out of the blue as if he never got the news for over ten years. Then there's the power gap. Unless he took his training more seriously than Frieza and has trained a lot to reach levels even stronger than Golden Frieza, there's no way he'd be a match for anyone above the average Super Saiyan level. Whatever the case is, I'd like to have Cooler in the canon too as he'd be a far likeable villain than Frieza these days, and if they do manage to add him, I really hope they do it right.
