Been awhile since I rendered anything with Elena Ibanez . She's Ysabel's other best friend from the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st century, the DEA agent rescued from Mexico in 1983 .

UPDATE: Apologies to anyone who preferred the quick single person high school portrait-looking image posted previously, but I had one setup for the Tatiana character with better lighting choices and decided to render them together. I feel like Tatiana should be holding a radio or something, so maybe I'll render it again if I can find one. And maybe I will separate them, but this looked pretty good for now.

What about this image has anything to do with the title as in, you know, actual detective stories? Well, Tatiana is a criminal psychologist who works with detectives and Elena is a former DEA agent turned private detective, so there you have it!
