Woop! You go snail! Go go go!
Originally inspired by my crazy (not really
) grandfather and his random sayings. One is "A man, riding on a snail, going 'Ooh, I am a man-hippo.'" I was going to do that, then I decided not to be TOO random.I had a lot of fun pixeling the snail. Here it is by itself!

I actually got rid of the shadows underneath, but I thought the shading was fine

The animation of the snail moving is effective, but at the edges of the 'animated' section of the snail's foot (Yes I believe it is called a foot) it can look a bit 'spikey', maybe making the ripple go from two pixels down to nothing immediately? I like to make my emotes random
On the saddle, it's not really a reflection, it's just more of a shine, because, saddles are made of leather and stuff. But yea, I could've added more shading there.

Yea, the snails head is kinda fail. It's much harder to make it realistic. I know I need to work on it there

About the saddle, I think the shading could be further up, it looks to me like it's in the bottom left corner rather than the top left corner. :/ But I might be wrong.
About the snail's head... Well snails don't really have heads...

HOW exactly is that done?
Sprite by sprite, or do you draw it, and then pixel over it?

With this one the only animation in it is the bottom of the snail, and the hand.
So basically, I pixeled the snail, and the other parts of it that remain static. Then I animated the hand and the bottom of the snail.
Because this is a transparent animation, I had to use the 'replace' method, where you replace each frame with the next one, as opposed to the 'combine' method, which just places each frame on top of each other. So I had to copy the initial static part of the snail/emote for each frame.
