People decided it was finally time to finish off the pirate vs. ninja battle, so they put them both in a place where neither one would have an advantage.

A snowy place of course.

Ninjas can't very well hide in their black suits in a white background, so that takes away their stealth, and pirates hate the snow because they are accustomed to the warm weather of the tropics in the ocean.

While the ninja worked out a plan to finish him off (Because ninjas are assassins, durr.), the pirate simply decided to get drunk to ward off the cold. Being a pirate and an alchoholic, he stayed ignorant to the fact that you get colder when you drink, and simply wanted an excuse for more rum.

So he quickly passed out in the snow.

The ninja snuck on him and attacked, while the pirates parrot flew away being the crap pet it is.

Needless to say, the ninja won, while the parrot flew down to the tropics, sold off the pirates ship, and is now living the high life in the Bahamas as a well known celebrity.
