Description
This is a rough uncompleted character sketch of Leon Reed, father of Kara Reed in my fanfiction New Trials of Card Captor Sakura. Leon is a descendant of Lord Landon Reed of the Great Five, so I supposed distantly related to Clow Reed as well, but he descended from Landon Reed's older brother Laurence Reed and his wife Lady Katherine, while Clow Reed was son of Landon Reed and Li Shulin.Leon Reed was Mizuki Kai's mentor and the original Kaitou Magician. I also included a note in the chapter, but smoking is hazardous for your health, and I do not condone it at all, but included a cigarette because Leon is portrayed as a chain smoker in Kaitou Magician Origins. He was considered bishounen when he was in his teens.

Thanks for sharing this drawing with us! I do remember the WIP very well and the fact that you shared a sketch adds to the grittiness of the character. He's a young man, but his eyes are incredibly hardened. It must be fun to break away from the goodie-two-shoes and rightous characters and write about this boozing, smoking womanizer for a short while!
Now that all of the main players are named as the chapter titles, I wonder who else is left on the roster!

Yay! You noticed my uncreative chapter titles for Kaitou Magician Origins. (Well, actually, the titles did require quite a lot of thought though). And yes, Leon is refreshing to write about! But actually, he's probably a misunderstood person too, in his own way.

Wah! I feel like I'm missing out a lot as I haven't read Kaito Magician Origins but seeing your sketch of Kara's father he somehow intimidate me a bit .It might be because of his pose , expression and how his eyes pierce me ,as Bubulona said his eyes looks mean .He's like "Hn, Whadya want?" but he is a bishounen

Yay, I did want to portray that Leon's the kind of person who is piercing straight into your soul with one look, and I'm glad he looks intimidating here--that's what I intended with this sketch! He's actually very silly and childlike at times too, though.

I saw this before I realized that there was a chapter update. I wanted to read it before posting here.
Leon looks so mean without color in his eyes. I don't condone smoking but without the cigarette (and short hair) I think I would confuse him with Landon ^^ I think the colored one makes him look closer to his personality but this one makes me think that this is how Kai must have seen him in the dark. Idk if it makes sense >_<

Yes, you got it exactly! This would have been Kai's first impression of Leon sitting in the dark, staring out at him! And Landon Reed is probably more "beautiful" looking, whereas Leon would be more macho scruffy, which I'm not good at drawing.
