The Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense (Didn't fit into the Title line).Alrighty, so I know that this is about the 12,097th Hellboy oriented fanart on this site, but, hey, at least I also included other members of the B.P.R.D. aside from just Hellboy, Abe, and Liz. Roger the homunculus is actually my favorite character, so I've always been a little disappointed that nobody includes him in their drawings.
From left to right they are: Johann, Kate, Abe, Hellboy, Roger, and Liz. I wanted to include Trevor too, but it didn't really work chronilogicaly. I never liked that undead captain guy either, so I didn't include him.
Well, hopefully you aren't all too Hellboyed-out to enjoy this one.
Hellboy and all the other characters are owned by Mike Mignola and Dark Horse Comics.

They never spell it out, but I suspect that whoever made him probably didn't want to sculpt a dingy (he's not human - he is basically like a golem).

Personally I love all the bprd agents Roger was fun to see in the comics 
anyways speaking of roger I love his face I reminded me kinda of the troll face. Oh hey Johann in his real form I liked that one.

Eh. I don't set restrictions or qualifications on fandom (it drives me nuts when people act pretentious about liking something before it was popular). It does seem strange if someone says they are a huge fan of the BPRD without reading any of the comics though.
Liz is probably my least favorite character. I would have preferred that they killed her off instead of Roger. She has been getting a bit more badass lately though.
I actually really wasn't fond of how Roger turned out in this one. I've actually started redrawing my own versions of the BPRD again. haha. So it's good to hear that you aren't Hellboyed-out.

I admit it was the movies that got me interested few months later I find the comics in my school library and been hooked since...I read the comics and can't stand the movies anymore. That was about 6 years ago.

yaoi- anime guy+anime guy= LUV usually slightly more explicit than shonen-ai, which i pretty much just fluff.

I knew nothign of the comic or the character until the movie came out, adn the movie flat-out astonished me... this just reminds me of that astonishment, thus I am faving.

Nice lineup! Did you drawn them individually then bring them together or all on the same page? I really like that you've done them all in your own style-whats with that character with that metal thing on his crotch? I've only read a few Hellboys & he's always struck me as a bit odd

Yeah, I drew them each on a seperate page in my sketchbook. I cheated.
I still don't get what the metal thing is on his crotch either. He's sort of a gollem character. He was sculpted by some guy and then brought to life.
As cool as the Hellboy movie was, the comic was definately better. Why did they get rid of his hooves? That sucked.

Ha. Yeah, that's very very true. I was actually originally going to do something like this for X-Men, but I got about half way through it and realized that a lot of them are just really really boring looking (and not fun to draw).
