Nothing beats the original 1951 version and this was the film that slowly showed how bad of an actor Jaden Smith was and he more or less ruined the remake as well as ruined the original character from the 51 version (turning the boy who was nice to Klaatu to a angry punk/brat), this was also the last decent film Keanu Reeves starred in and he more less saved this film from becoming a bomb.
