Seeing how my last Rudolph pic was from October, I thought it would only be appropriate to do another around the actual holiday.

The night after Rudolph's birth, Blitzen and Mitzi, his mate, enjoy a time of peace and quiet, their new fawn sleeping soundly between them. They are aware that their son is...special, but for the moment, they are content with how they are right now--warm, comfortable, and loved. They do not know the trouble their son will experience later in his life. And they do not know that this child of theirs will grow up to be one of Christmas Town's greatest heroes. But for the moment, it doesn't matter. The future does not matter, because the present is good enough.

Merry Christmas, everyone. I hope your holiday is blessed and filled with fun and family. Thank you for being with me through my first year as an artist on this site, and I hope next year will be even better!
