his life was long... very long...now it's run to the end. his mortal body is consumed by flames, in middle of holy stone circle.
and his soul now rides to the stars, for a deserved rest.
old pic, renewed with photoshop. i like the way the shining effect, that appeared around flames and his staff.

Amazing pencil work. Somehow the gradient cheapens the image, though. Do you feel that there's something wrong with leaving it in greyscale? It seems like that would add more contrast to this image. The movement and anatomy is great too, by the way.

well, without colors you could see all those mistakes i made... since i usually work with colors there were more you could count.
