Description Out of town again this week, so no tablet, but here's something I've been meaning to do for awhile. A long while. Cleo fanart, from 's excellent Cleopatra in Space! comic.

Was listening to: Magic Spear I ... though I also think it goes alright with a bit of Pendulum .

Cleo, and Cleopatra in Space are, obviously, (c) Mike Maihack.

Hope he will notice eventually otherwise well worth the times and efforts with this rather dynamic piece.

Read the first four books from our public library for grins and giggles.  A very good piece of work.  But your rendition tends to show her as an older teenager.  Maybe years down the road?

Definitely worth the effort to hunt down the remaining books. Personally I'm hanging on Book 6.

As noted above to TSM though, I was basing this on webcomic-era Cleo, which might explain why she looks a bit older/more mature. I suspect it was also aimed at an older audience than the Scholastic books.

Could be.  The Scholastic Books are what my library has.  I think I've read up to volume 4.  Need to check if I had read #5.

Nicely done, Alf. Just hopped over for a look at the original. Intriguing, and looks like fun. But your version is considerably sexier.

Thanks TSM. The comic books are well worth the money to pick up... even without the excuse of buying it for grandkids.

As to looking sexier, well I put that partly down to my evolving style (I mean, even Monty's grown hips of late... sort of), but also because I was basing this on webcomic era Cleo, who seemed a bit more pulp sci-fi... and so is thus unsurprisingly also my favourite version of her (I'd point you at the comic proper, but the archive apparently is currently defunct):

It's actually been kind of interesting watching her design change and evolve through each iteration.
