This is a one-sheet poster I did for Radical Publishing's Assassins a while back. A highly fictional and fantastical take on the medieval Crusades, its shows Richard the Lionheart and Saladin fighting side by side against hordes of assassins.Related content

That is magnificent. The silhouetted dagger and arm in the foreground look like a vulture's beak and neck, which is quite appropriate. (Well done on representing the correct version of Richard I's heraldry as used during the 3rd Crusade).
I wonder which one of them put the Assassins onto Conrad of Montferrat...

great work , only one thing , that dagger in the upper right corner of the picture, dunno if it's on purpose but why it covers the whole face of the dude with the ripped throat (would be cool some part of the face to be visible , like un eye and mouth, or just a mouth , whatever), it 's cool painting though

Hey! I like the dynamic in the whole picture. Everything is like moving. Sometimes if I try to draw something in motion it looks like the people are just standing there, pretending they are in motion

I'd like to see either Richard or Saladin's reaction to this. They'd probably be very angry. I on the other hand, am far from it, this is a splendid piece of work. Absolutely fantastic.

I really like this piece. It's good to know that people like to keep a historical aspect to their art. The weapons and armor are very accurate.
